Telluride Magazine and San Juan Skyway Visitor Guide accept submissions from writers and photographers. We ask that you familiarize yourself with our departments, content, and style before sending a query or images. We are looking for top-shelf editorial content that celebrates the outdoors, defines mountain culture, and informs and engages readers.
Telluride Publishing prefers that all submissions are made electronically. Writers should include links to published clips and a CV. Photographers can send links to their website gallery or attach low-resolution version of images to be considered. We also run art and illustrations with our fiction and essays—artists who would like their work to be considered for these sections can also submit links, and preference is given to local and regional artists.
To query, make a submission, or get more information please email editor@telluridemagazine.com.
I had not read Maple Taylor since he wrote for the Elk Foundation journal, Bugle. This piece reminds me why I had DuckDuckGo seek him out for me this evening. I am closer to the wild and precious things when I take them in through his eyes and heart. Nice work.
