You might wonder what moved the crowds. This year, I think it was the bass. Victor Wooten and George Porter, Jr. are my two favorite bassists in the world.
Telluriders woke up to an unusual sight: people in sleeping bags outside of Telluride Music, waiting to snare some of the last 4-day passes to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
No matter which way the wind blows, or even if it blows too hard to fly, the Telluride Balloon Fest always gets off the ground with the annual balloon glow held at night on main street.
I hereby declare that this is the best music festival in the world, and I am chuffed to say: The 2010 Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is upon us.
If summer in Telluride has a soundtrack, it is most certainly bluegrass.
