Telluride Is Ready For ‘The Ride’

the ride festival telluride

The more music, the better. And summer in Telluride means lots of great music in the majestic outdoors. Telluride welcomes back The Ride Festival this weekend, July 13 and 14. The festivities kick off with an outdoor concert Friday night in Mountain Village and continue with two great days of music in town park and night shows at local venues. The event is sponsored by KOTO, the local community radio station, and the lineup is incredible, featuring David Byrne & St. Vincent, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Cake, Drive-By Truckers, Steve Earle, Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale, Son Volt, The Revivalists, Brother And Bones, The Whiskey Sisters, Matthew Curry and The Fury, Hazel Miller Gospel Brunch, Rival Sons, The Weeks, Escondido, and Soft White Sixties.
Do you, as the Beatles sang, have a ticket to ride? Camping and RV passes are sold out, but there are still tickets available to the event. Check out the full schedule and buy passes on the website, ridefestival.com. Two-day passes entitle you admission to NightRide concerts at local venues, complete with a drink token.
